Planning is free, with no limit on trips.

A few things cost us every time you use them, like transit times or Google photos and reviews. Those, and a handful more like walking routes on the real streets and hills or the Excel export, use credits, which you top up whenever you like.

No subscription. Credits never expire.

With credits, the time you’ll really get there.

Planning is free, with no limit on trips. Without credits, Routetto estimates each walk as a straight line and gives you an approximate time. With credits, it measures it along the streets, stairs and hills, and puts the train, bus or ferry that actually runs into your itinerary.

The same afternoon, worked out both ways.

Bergamo, with 10 minutes on the walls. In a straight line, you reach the station at 16:59 and make the 17:02. Along the streets and stairs of the old town, you get there at 17:05, and the train is already flagged. You find out while you plan, not on the platform.

Credits are bought on the web, at app.routetto.com: tap your balance at the top and ‘Buy credits’ (on a phone, in the More menu). You pay on Stripe’s payment page, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You can use them in the Android app too.

Billed by Bouzon Digital, with an invoice. To buy, you sign in with your Bouzon Digital Account. Credit terms

How we make money.

From credits. What you pay covers what Google and the other services charge us for each request, and the rest pays for the work of making Routetto.

And from some links. If you buy a ticket or book a hotel from the app, the site that sells it may pay us a commission. You pay the same, and what we show you doesn’t change because of it.

No ads, and we don’t sell your data.

Questions

Is it a subscription?

No. You buy a pack when you want one. No monthly fee, no renewal.

Do credits expire?

No. Whatever you don’t use on this trip is there for the next one.

What if I run out mid-trip?

Nothing breaks. The plan, the map and your tickets stay put, and searching and reordering switch to the free version, with walks in a straight line. Things that only work with credits, like transit times, wait until you top up.

How long does a pack last?

It depends on how much you use the paid features: browsing photos of every place isn’t the same as looking up one train a day. The app always shows your balance.

Does the person I share a trip with pay?

Viewing and editing a shared trip is free. If someone uses something that needs credits, it comes out of their balance, not yours.

What happens to the credits I don’t use?

They stay in your account for your next trip: they don’t expire. What happens to the unused part in the first 14 days is in the terms.

Where can I buy from?

For now, credits are only sold in the European Union: what counts is your card’s billing country. Free planning works from anywhere.

How do I pay?

On the web, at app.routetto.com, on Stripe’s payment page: by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The invoice comes by email, and if you need a full one with a Spanish tax number, you can ask for it under ‘Your purchases’.

Can I buy credits in the Android app?

No. Credits are bought on the web, at app.routetto.com, and you can use them in the Android app too: same account, same balance.

Why isn’t everything free?

Because we’re charged per request for transit times, photos and reviews. Walking routes on the real streets and hills, reordering with them and the Excel export use credits too. Everything else is free.

Does my AI use credits?

Connecting it is free. Anything it does with a paid feature comes out of your balance, just as if you’d done it yourself. A read-only connection never spends.
